A brave father from Long Island, New York, became a real-life hero after saving his 14-year-old daughter, Emmarae Gervasi, from a terrifying ordeal. Emmarae went missing from her home, and her frantic dad, Frank Gervasi, immediately launched a desperate search, fearing she was being held against her will.
For 26 days, Frank followed every lead, working closely with Suffolk County Police. Finally, after receiving an anonymous tip, he tracked his daughter to a large boat near Islip, Long Island, and rescued her himself, before authorities even arrived.
Emmarae was rushed to the hospital to recover, and her parents expressed immense relief and gratitude. Frank described the moment he held his daughter again as a “gift from God”.
