Katie Price’s shock Dubai wedding has sparked a frenzy of speculation — and now her new mother-in-law has finally spoken out.
Trisha Andrews, the Nottingham-based clairvoyant and mother of Katie’s new husband Lee Andrews, confirmed she knew the couple were getting married and admitted she has been left deeply upset by what she called “a lot of lies” circulating about her son’s past.
Speaking after the ultra-fast ceremony in the Middle East, Trisha said she felt compelled to defend Lee amid claims about his previous relationships. She insisted he has not been married twice, adding that the rumours have taken an emotional toll on her. While she stopped short of going into detail, she made it clear her priority is her son’s happiness.
She explained that Lee had told her in advance about the wedding and said her view was simple: if he is happy, then she is happy — because, as she put it, he’s her son and that’s all that really matters.

Asked about her famous new daughter-in-law, Trisha struck a notably neutral and compassionate tone. She said she has always known who Katie is but has never judged her, stressing that everyone deserves a chance in life. Lightening the mood, she joked that while people might ask what it’s like to gain a famous daughter-in-law, Katie has also gained a famous mother-in-law.
Katie, 47, announced her engagement to Lee earlier this week, just months after splitting from former partner JJ Slater, before confirming on Sunday that they had married only days after she flew to Dubai to meet him in person for the first time.
The TV star has described their connection as something that began online and deepened rapidly “by words”, explaining that they bonded before ever meeting face to face. According to Katie, that intense connection led to matching tattoos, exchanging rings and ultimately deciding to marry, leaving fate — or destiny — to take control.

She later shared that she feels she has found her person and claimed their bond is beyond words, saying Lee now has the best version of her and that their relationship can only grow stronger.
Images from the ceremony show Katie in a long white dress with daring cut-outs as she exchanged vows with Lee at an outdoor venue strewn with rose petals. She later confirmed the marriage on Instagram with a simple message declaring herself the happiest “Mr and Mrs”.
The Dubai wedding marks Katie’s fourth marriage, following previous unions with Peter Andre, Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler. Lee, meanwhile, becomes her fourth husband — and the ninth man she has been engaged to — ensuring that the whirlwind romance has once again placed Katie firmly at the centre of public debate.
